What are the functions of Management?

  1. Planning - Deciding who will do what, how, and when in advance. It bridges the gap from where we are to where we want to go.

  2. Organizing - It is the process of forming a framework or a structure that will help the employees to work effectively and efficiently to meet with organizational mission, vision, and goals.

  3. Staffing - It is the process by which an organization obtains, maintains, and utilizes a satisfied and suitable pool of employees.

  4. Directing - It is the activity to guide, inspire and encourage employees to work effectively and efficiently to get the tasks done in a given time.

  5. Controlling - It makes sure that all functions of management are properly executed and maintain the performance standards that were set.
